EKA unveils 9m Electric School Bus at Prawaas 5.0

EKA Mobility unveiled its new EKA 9M Electric School Bus at Prawaas 5.0 in Gandhinagar. Developed specifically for school transportation, the EKA 9M Electric School Bus is built on EKA’s lightweight monocoque platform and features a high-strength steel structure, delivering enhanced safety, ride comfort and operational efficiency. The bus accommodates up to 43 passengers plus the driver and complies with AIS 052 standards.

Safety and comfort remain central to the vehicle’s design. The bus is equipped with an Electronic Braking System (EBS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and air suspension, ensuring a stable, comfortable and secure journey for students.

Available with 100 kWh and 200 kWh LFP battery packs, the bus delivers a driving range of up to 180 km on a single charge and supports CCS2 fast charging, enabling a full recharge in under 1 hour and 45 minutes.
