Indofast Energy, Bike Bazaar To Deploy 5,000 E2Ws For Last-Mile Deliveries

Indofast Energy, a leading battery-swapping solutions provider, has partnered with fleet operator and mobility financier Bike Bazaar to deploy 5,000 electric two-wheelers across India over the next 18 months.

The partnership will expand Indofast’s battery-swapping network into high-demand areas, helping fleet operators reduce downtime, lower costs, and keep deliveries uninterrupted. The move also aligns with the Automotive Mission Plan 2047, which calls for large-scale EV adoption across the country.

Rajat Malhan, Senior Vice President, Indofast Energy, said the collaboration comes at a time when EV sales in India are rising rapidly. “By deploying 5,000 electric two-wheelers and growing our swapping infrastructure, we are enabling cost-efficient operations for delivery fleets while also contributing to a cleaner future,” he noted.

Karunakaran Vadakkepat, Co-Founder & Joint Managing Director, Bike Bazaar, added that the focus is on empowering gig workers with reliable and sustainable mobility. “This partnership reflects our shared vision of creating a greener and more inclusive mobility ecosystem for India,” he said.

Indofast Energy has been actively expanding partnerships to accelerate EV adoption, including collaborations with Zypp Electric, Motovolt, Indian Railways, EVeez, Green Tiger Mobility, and BESCOM, strengthening its role as one of India’s fastest-growing players in the battery-swapping space.
