Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has expanded its CRETA Electric portfolio with three new variants – the CRETA Electric Excellence, the CRETA Electric Executive Tech with a 42 kWh battery pack, and the CRETA Electric Executive (O) with a larger 51.4 kWh battery pack.

The new 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs now deliver ranges of 420 km and 510 km respectively, addressing range concerns and giving customers greater confidence for long journeys.

Commenting on the launch, Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and COO, Hyundai Motor India, said, “The new variants mark a bold step forward in capturing the aspirations of today’s new-age customers. With high range and premium features, these offerings empower families to embark on journeys that are meaningful, memorable, and sustainable.”

All variants now get wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay via an adapter, while premium features like a dashcam and rear wireless charger are offered in the top trims. The CRETA Electric Excellence variant packs in Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS with 20 features, ventilated seats, surround view and blind-spot monitors, and 8-way electric seats with memory function. The Executive Tech variant focuses on hi-tech comfort with features like a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, rear window sunshade, and eco-friendly leather seats. The Executive (O) 51.4 kWh variant combines longer range with premium touches such as a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, dashcam, and rear wireless charger.

Hyundai has also added two new colour options — Matte Black and Shadow Grey — to enhance the premium appeal of the CRETA Electric. With the updated line-up, HMIL aims to strengthen its EV portfolio and offer aspirational, tech-rich, and sustainable mobility solutions to Indian customers.
