For MBP PVT, 2025 marked a decisive turning point in its India journey. After several years of systematic market development, relationship building, and capability strengthening, the company witnessed its long-term strategy translate into strong commercial results. It was the first year when momentum in India became clearly visible, measurable, and scalable.

The numbers underline this shift. Sales growth between 2024 and 2025 stood at an impressive 450 percent, offering clear validation that MBP PVT’s focused and structured approach to the Indian market is delivering tangible outcomes.

Reflecting on this milestone, Małgorzata Bieniaszewska, Founder and CEO of MB Pneumatyka, said, “India rewards consistency and commitment. We invested time in understanding customer expectations, application realities, and long-term partnerships, and 2025 is when those efforts truly began to bear fruit.”

Expansion Across Tier-1 Bus OEMs and EV Platforms

A defining feature of the year was MBP PVT’s rapid expansion within the Tier-1 bus manufacturing segment. The company established cooperation with leading bus OEMs such as PMI, Veera Bus, Neuton Bus, Black Buck EV, and also began indirect supplies to Switch Mobility. This marked an important step in embedding MBP PVT’s pneumatic fittings into mainstream bus manufacturing platforms.

Alongside conventional bus OEMs, 2025 also saw rising engagement from electric bus manufacturers. Companies such as EMT and JP Minda evaluated MBP PVT pneumatic fittings for their EV platforms, reflecting growing awareness of the role reliable pneumatic components play in electric mobility applications.

“In electric vehicles, reliability margins are far tighter. Every component must perform flawlessly across duty cycles,” Malgorzata noted. “That is where quality pneumatic systems become critical rather than optional.”

Strengthening Presence in Specialty Vehicles and Defence Applications

Beyond buses, MBP PVT continued to strengthen its position in special platform trailers, heavy-duty applications, and defence-related projects. The company maintained strong cooperation with TII and established a long-term partnership with Tratec during the year.

In parallel, MBP PVT remained engaged in technical and commercial discussions with specialised vehicle manufacturers such as LOHR, VMT, Goldhofer, ADR Axles, SATRAC, Velan Trailers, and others. These engagements reinforced confidence in MBP PVT’s connectors, particularly in demanding and safety-critical applications.

Interest Extends to Fleet Operators and End Users

Importantly, 2025 also demonstrated that interest in MBP PVT solutions extended beyond OEMs. A notable example was a trial conducted with Linde on existing vehicles, validating the performance of MBP PVT fittings under real operating conditions.

In addition, logistics operators in the Namakkal region showed growing interest in MBP PVT-equipped vehicles. This trend underlined a broader shift in the market, where fleet operators and end users are increasingly influencing component selection based on reliability, uptime, and lifecycle performance.

“Fleet operators today are asking sharper questions about durability and total cost of ownership,” Malgorzata said. “Their expectations are reshaping how OEMs think about components.”

Strategic Engineering Collaborations with ZF and BEML

Another major highlight of 2025 was intensive engineering and development work with ZF, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of braking systems and pneumatic suspensions. The project holds strategic importance for MBP PVT, opening future supply opportunities for manufacturers across India.

In parallel, MBP PVT carried out a detailed vehicle study with BEML, focusing on pneumatic system optimisation. The outcomes of this study were successfully implemented in a prototype vehicle, further demonstrating the company’s application-oriented engineering approach.

Beyond OEMs, 2025 also confirmed strong acceptance of MBP PVT products among manufacturers and specialised dealers. Companies such as Haulmaxx, SGG Engineering, Krishna Motors, and Trailer Control Systems increasingly recognised the quality and durability of MBP PVT connectors.

Pneumatic kit dealers also began introducing MBP PVT products more decisively into the Indian market, expanding brand visibility and strengthening distribution reach.

Full Production Localization Takes Shape in Jamnagar

Perhaps the most transformative development of 2025 was MBP PVT’s readiness to fully localise production in India. Supported by secured long-term orders and signed contracts, the company initiated a complete transfer of know-how and manufacturing capabilities to its Jamnagar facility.

Until now, MBP PVT India produced selected high-volume connectors locally, while customised solutions were manufactured in Poland. By the end of 2025, the company launched full technology and competence transfer, targeting 100 percent local production of its entire connector portfolio by the end of Q2 2026.

“Localization is not only about cost or logistics. It is about trust,” Malgorzata emphasised. “Indian customers want Indian manufacturing, backed by global expertise.”

The Jamnagar facility is led by General Manager Dinesh Kothiya, who brings strong machining and manufacturing experience. With over four years of connector manufacturing in India and more than four decades of experience at its Polish plant, MBP PVT believes it has a solid foundation for this transition.

Leadership Presence and Looking Ahead

Leadership presence was another defining aspect of the year. Malgorzata visited India five times in 2025, prioritising direct, face-to-face engagement with customers and partners. These visits reinforced MBP PVT’s positioning as a committed, locally invested partner rather than a distant European supplier.

With strong sales growth, expanding OEM partnerships, increasing end-user interest, strategic engineering collaborations, and full localisation underway, 2025 stands as a breakthrough year for MBP PVT in India. As the company enters 2026, it does so with confidence, reinforced capabilities, and a clear commitment to growing alongside India’s commercial vehicle and mobility ecosystem.
