Avore Electric Launches Its First Electric Motorcycle EX Series Starting at ₹1.24 Lakh

Avore Electric, India’s homegrown technology-first electric motorcycle manufacturer from the house of Samarth E-Mobility, has launched the Avore Electric EX series — its first electric motorcycle — unveiled by Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel. Available in three variants — the EX 2S, EX 2, and EX 1 — prices start at ₹1,24,999 ex-showroom, with bookings open from ₹799 on the official Avore Electric website and deliveries commencing in two months.

The EX series is built around a rare-earth-free Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor delivering 7.5 kW to 10.5 kW of maximum power and 250 Nm of peak wheel torque across all variants. The EX 2S reaches a top speed of 114 km/h with an IDC-certified range of 260 km, the EX 2 tops out at 100 km/h with a 255 km range, and the EX 1 delivers 160 km of certified range. An industry-first Integrated Motor and Swingarm Powertrain architecture improves weight distribution, structural rigidity, and handling dynamics.

All variants come with a 1,500W onboard fast charger compatible with standard 5A or 15A household sockets, charging from 20 to 80% in approximately two hours and 0 to 100% in around four hours — eliminating the need for dedicated charging infrastructure.

The motorcycle is powered by AVORE Source, the company’s proprietary technology stack, with over nine critical vehicle systems developed entirely in-house at its R&D centre in Ahmedabad, including the battery management system, motor, motor controller, onboard charger, and proprietary operating system. The company has filed more than 120 intellectual property applications. The EX integrates AVORE SENSE, the company’s operating system, alongside AVA vehicle assistance and Avore Synapse, an AI-powered companion that tracks ride statistics and delivers personalised rider insights.

The battery is backed by a 5-year or 60,000 km warranty, and the platform complies with AIS 156 and AIS 038 safety standards, validated through over 1,00,000 km of road testing and 2,500-plus hours of dynamometer validation.
