Mercedes-Benz Expands Nationwide Retail Network with New Luxury Showroom in Raipur

Mercedes-Benz India has strengthened its retail footprint in Chhattisgarh with the inauguration of a new luxury showroom in Raipur. The facility, set up by City Star, is part of the company’s wider strategy to move closer to customers by expanding its presence across emerging markets.

The new showroom, located in Telibandha, features Raipur’s first dedicated Maybach Corner, reflecting the growing demand for top-end luxury vehicles in the region. With a total built-up area of 5,300 sq. ft., including 3,500 sq. ft. of covered showroom space, the facility offers personalised consultations, curated lifestyle experiences and a dedicated delivery bay equipped with the digital Key Presenter system. It is supported by a team of around 30 professionals.

Mr. Brendon Sissing, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said the brand enters 2026 with strong momentum after a record revenue year in 2025. He noted that the company will introduce 12 new products this year while strengthening manufacturing operations, building the MB.Charge public charging ecosystem and entering additional markets.

City Star’s Managing Director, Mr. Sunil Madhyani, said the new showroom brings a modern, boutique-style luxury experience to Raipur, with a strong focus on top-end vehicles and personalised customer engagement.

In support of Mercedes-Benz’s electric mobility plans, the Raipur facility is equipped with a 120 kW fast charger and two charging bays to meet the growing needs of BEV customers. The location also benefits from its position within a busy commercial hub, making it easily accessible to a large base of existing and potential luxury buyers in the city.
